Dallas Weekly has released their 25 to Watch in '07 list. They have compiled a strong mix of politicians, entertainers, business people, and community activists. On the website, Dallas Weekly calls the list "controversial". I can only imagine how many calls they received from people who wished that they (or their client, or their pastor, or their family member) had been included.
