Donnie Doo Still Doing It!!!

I think most P1's would agree that Donovan Lewis has brought new life to BaD Radio on SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket.  Since his addition nearly a year ago, the contributions of Mr. Lewis have been many and varied.  From leading Dan McDowell door-to-door for a Cheerio in South Dallas, to his performance at Ticketstock 2007 with Bob Sturm on the video above, Donovan has brought funny to a show that wasn't very prior to his arrival.

This month, Donnie Doo has educated while entertaining with his "Black History Minute."  Each day he highlights a historic African-American figure and ends each segment with a unique twist on the person's true contribution to society.  The cats on 'BaD' have told Donovan that he will run out of historic black figures (don't most jokes express at least part our true feelings?) before the end of the shortest month of the year. He won't run out of people, but making Harriet Tubman funny has to be a challenge.

So even if you're not a P1, P2, or marginal P3, tune in weekdays at 1:50 p.m. to listen to a little "Daily Donovan."  You might get lucky and catch 'Ghetto Jeopardy' or even get a Black Woman's perspective from Donovan's wife Twiggy.  If you like what you hear, be sure to send an e-mail to tom1310@prodigy.net .
