Black Images to Host Book Signing
Ms. Emma Rodgers has continued to stay busy since she first told Dallas South Blog she would be closing shop in Wynnewood Village. Mr. Rodgers has been hosting a number of author events and book signings around town.
This Thursday March 8, she will host a book signing by Wyntoun X. Henderson at Brooklyn Jazz Cafe located at 1701 South Lamar in Dallas. Mr. Henderson will be signing his new book Common Threads of Freedom Compuouding on Thursday beginning at 6:00 p.m. Black Images website describes the book as such:
Common Threads of Freedom Compounding (CreativeEdge Original Trade Paperback, January 31;23.95) by Award winning Art Director, and former Fine Art Teacher Wyntoun Xavier Henderson is anything but common as revealed in his shocking autobiographical journey through time from an artist's childhood in his voice of discovery to professionally challenged interactions, and situations with power drunk superiors. With faith, and creative energy he encourages spiritual development in feeding the soul what it needs to survived in a thoughtful compassion for all mankind.
The post I wrote about the closing of Black Images was one of the most received more visits than almost anything else that I've done. There were a number of heartfelt comments on this post by fans of Ms. Rodgers and Ms. Tosihwe. I'm encouraging readers of this blog to support Ms. Rodgers at Brooklyn on Thursday. I look forward to meeting some of you there.
