Aron Ranen’s Black Hair Documentary Part Two
Part 2 of Aron Ranen’s documentary examines how the Korean and American governments, in the 1960’s, helped to bolster the Korean dominance in the black hair care industry.
Also he highlights the creation of BOBSA -Black Owned Beauty Supply Association- in Oakland, California. I love when black folks are proactive instead of reactive. I’ll post links to all this stuff later, and withhold comment on the blue, pink, and red hair seen in the video.
