Happy Freddie Day! City proclaims May 1st Dr. Frederick D. Haynes Day
Last night, Friendship-West Baptist church wrapped up a month long celebration of Senior Pastor, Dr. Frederick D. Haynes.
Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway presented a proclamation from Mayor Tom Leppert and the entire City Council.
The city has designated May 1, 2008 as “Dr. Frederick D. Haynes Day.”
Dr. Haynes also received a reolution from the Dallas School Board of trustees presented by Carla Ranger. The ceremony allowed the children of Friendship-West to show their appreciation to Dr. Haynes.
The children’s praise dance, choir, and drama groups all ministered, as well as the FWBC cheereleaders.
Students from the Frederick Douglass Academy also made a presentation. Dr. Haynes and the children adjourned for cupcakes and punch following the sevice.
