Dallas AKA’s to host 23rd Image Awards Luncheon February 28th
The ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omicron Mu Omega chapter are hosting their 23rd Image Awards Luncheon on Saturday February 28, 2009. The event will begin at noon at the Dallas Info Mart. Tickets for the luncheon are $50.
This year’s luncheon is celebrating education, scholarship, and public service with a focus on the African-American male. The guest speaker is actor Hill Harper, author of Letters to a Young Brother and MANifest Your Destiny. Omicron Mu Omega will also honor Phillip Lyles, Executive Director of the I Have a Dream Foundation.
