Amazing Grace History/”Amazing Grace” By Wintley Phipps
Not a whole lot of explanation needed here, but I will say this. When you are trying to teach people something, like Mr. Phipps is doing here, it’s a whole lot easier to kill them with kindness. He taught somebody in that audience something they didn’t intend on knowing or probably didn’t want to know.
I wish more black folks in the faith circle who had his audience would use it as he did, and I wish more black pastors who could put their message in a manor that White America where they could digest it without compromising.
What I like is that he’s not sugar coating our soft-pedaling the reality of what he is talking about. Imagine, my intention was to just write “this speaks for itself.’ Thanks G.B. for directing me to this video. Enjoy
My only comment is that I would love to have a copy of this video for my library. Could someone please tell me how I might be able to purchase a copy? My e-mail address is across@sbcglobal.net. Please contact me if you have information on how I can get a copy. Thank-you, and God Bless
