Dallas South Sports September post hailed the end of Southlake Carroll dynasty

Dallas South isn't a place known for "I told you so", but I'll have to ask for some latitude on this one.  A September 9th post at Dallas South Sports claimed Southlake Carroll will not win the state title in 2007 and here's why.  An excerpt from the post:

Todd Dodge could have told the Southlake faithful they were playing the season with 10 players on the field and they would have bought it. Not only that, but he obviously saw things in a way that no one else (in high school OU would say) did. Wasson will probably call the same plays, but not in the exact same sequence and not in the exact same situation.

It's hard for any team to overcome the loss of a starting quarterback, ask the University of Oregon.  But would Dodge have sent his backup QB to set up under center for what ended up being the team's last play>  Southlake's 22-21 loss to Abilene on Saturday hailed the true end of an era.  Check out the above link to see why.
