UniverSoul Circus in Dallas Aug. 14-19
When I say Big Top you say circus: Big Top (Circus).
The Universoul Circus is back in Dallas, setting up for a week long run at Southwest Center Mall. The single ring circus will entertain fans from Aug 14-19.
The UniverSoul Circus was founded in 1994 by Cedric Walker, wand the first show was staged in the parking lot of Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium. By 1997 the circus tour had grown to 10 cities, 19 cities in 1999, 31 cities in 2000, toured South Africa 2001– its first international destination, and 32 cities in 2005.
Ringmaster Tony Tone and his faithful sidekick Zeke shepherd UniverSoul's 12 acts and 75 performers. The crew come from nations all over the world, including Jamaica, Cuba, China, Russia, and from throughout continent of Africa.
If you haven't experienced UniverSoul's “Hip Hop under the Big Top”, I'd advise you to check it out while they're in town. I'm not a big circus fan, but I have had a wonderful time in my 5 or so trips (oh yeah, my son has too). You can purchase tickets online at Ticketmaster.
